Mission

CC's mission:

Community Connections is a program associated with the Computer Science Department at the University of San Francisco. We are focused on using our skills and abilities to help bridge the digital divide, both locally and internationally. Our work has included technical support and system administration for local nonprofits as well as the construction of computer labs in schools in the developing world. Our goals are:

• Help provide and improve access to information technology for the poor and disenfrancished, both in the U.S. and abroad.
• Provide USF students with practical, hands-on experience working in real-world settings.
• Provide USF students with the direct knowledge and experience of working to help people in need. This is in keeping with USF's mission to "educate hearts and minds to change the world."
