Computer Science Labs
In addition to the Kudlick Classroom, the CS
Department currently has 2 computer facilities located on the 5th floor of
the Harney Science Building available for general student use. Additional
labs exist for students involved in research.
PC Lab - Harney 535
Our PC lab contains 12 PCs each with the following configuration:
- Pentium 4 3.2 GHz processor
- 2 GB of RAM
- 160 GB hard drive
- Gigabit Ethernet network
- CD-RW drive
- 17-inch Dell flat panel LCD monitors
- Fedora Core 4 Linux distribution
- Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2
Mac Laboratory - Harney 530
Our Mac lab contains 12 PowerMac G5's with the following configuration:
- Dual PowerPC 2.0 GHz processors
- 1 GB of RAM
- 160 GB hard drive
- Gigabit Ethernet network
- SuperDrive
- 19-inch Sony Trinitron monitors
- Mac OS X 10.4
