USF women in CS

We are the USF Women in CS !
We are sisters at the University of San Francisco, bonded by the field of Science that fascinates us all- Computer Science.

This group aims at providing support and guidance to the women in the CS department at USF. We hope to provide a forum for the women to voice their ideas, issues or concerns and strengthen the bond between the members. We hope to encourage more women to take an interest in the field of Computer Science, through our activities and programs.

Though we have been practicing our mission for long, we formally grouped in Fall'07, under the guidance of Sami Rollins, who is the Computer Science department's first and only female professor.

The logo for the group was designed by undergrad student Lauren Assour. The web page was developed by grad student Mary Vattavayalil.
