March 5, 2005

The Bay Area Scientific Computing Day (BASCD) is an informal gathering to encourage the interaction and collaboration of researchers in the field of computational science and engineering from the San Francisco Bay Area. This event provides an opportunity for new researchers to present their work to the local community and for the Bay Area scientific computing community at large to exchange views on today's computational challenges.

The Sixth BASCD will include technical talks and contributed poster presentations. A banquet at a local restaurant will follow the meeting.

If you'd like to nominate someone for a talk, please contact Peter Pacheco by February 1.
