Research

Recent advances in biotechnology have resulted in an explosion of data on DNA, RNA and protein. Computational approaches are needed to address problems such as the interrelationships between sequence, structure and function. I'm interested in the application of computational biology, algorithms and mathematical models to problems in genomics and proteomics. I'm also interested in the application of artificial intelligence and data mining to decision making, including investigation into hidden bias and interactions of input parameters.
