Computers
This may seem redundant, but I love to play with and tweak my computers. Yes, this brands me as a geek, but a definition I found for geek is "a carnival performer often billed as a wild man whose act usually includes biting the head off a live chicken or snake". How cool is that? On a side note, for you women looking to better understand geeks, try this guide. Heh.
I have garnered the requisite reputation among family and friends as one who can fix/solve any computer problem, something that can be a bit of a headache at times.
Favorite OS: Linux. Best built in applications: scp and ssh, so damn handy....

Games
Like Deniz (site) I like video games, but I prefer the PC versions, not the console games. I can't get used to the controllers for the consoles. Give me a keyboard and mouse any day.
Favorite games include Half-Life, (original and 2), Call of Duty (best game ever), Halo, Delta Force in all of it incarnations, especially Black Hawk Down. Doom 3 was pretty interesting but all
those imps popping up got annoying. I generally only play games over the holidays and summer as I'm too busy during the school year, but I squeeze in a little frag time now and then.

Movies
Gotta like the moving pictures, I'll watch just about anything except musicals (WAY too much exposure to Sound of Music when I was young) and, of course, just plain bad movies. Some
favorites include Black Hawk Down, Saving Private Ryan, Open Range (one of the best shootouts ever), Band Of Brothers, Collateral, Garden State, The Bourne Identity, The Village,
Office Space, Man on Fire and many, many more....

Outdoor Sports
Where do I start? Hiking, biking, archery, shooting, fishing, hunting, all good things. I haven't had much time for any of these activities lately, but I get
out to the archery range occasionally. I haven't been to the rifle range in way too long, but I plan to go a lot more once this pesky school thing is out of
the way.

Here are some pictures from the Community Connections/Computer Science trip I took to Peru last March.
