Twenty young women from a number of San Francisco high schools will be attending a week long program highlighting the many aspects of computer science and technology at the University of San Francisco. The program will be taught by USF computer science students Serene Chong, Ketaki Joshi, Nancy Montanez, and Jennifer Reyes. The student will program robots, learn about Google Earth, program in Python, take apart computers, and explore computer networks.

The program  features guest speakers Ellen Spertus and Neha Nerula from Google, Kelly Gotlib from Tyco (and a USF alum), Deborah Volk from Endeca, and Monica Pal from LignUp.

One of the highlights of the week will be a field trip to Macromedia in San Francisco.
