Music4Romania raises funds for schools and orphanages in Romania through
concerts and other activities that promote Romanian music and culture

Music4Romania was started in 2011, as a youth-driven initiative at Indian Springs School, located in Indian Springs, Alabama. Currently based in Birmingham, Alabama, but operating internationally, Music4Romania has evolved into a community of volunteer musicians and music-lovers who believe in the power of music to inspire and affect the lives of all people. Currently the Board of Directors includes Alina Voicu, President; Sally McElroy, Vice-President; Martha Burns, Treasurer; Rachel LaMonte, Secretary; Dora Cojocaru, Director; Allan Cruse, Director; Ioana Galu, Director; Rodica Mai, Director; John McElroy, Director; and Angela Szasz, Director.
