According to an advance announcement of the project by Romania's AGERPRESS news service on 14 August 2014,
the documentary movie is being produced mainly to promote Bucharest as a
smart city-break destination, along with promoting lesser known aspects of the city regarding
its history, cultural and artistic life, its educational opportunities, plus other
elements already familiar to many foreigners.
The documentary is to be broadcast during Feb-May 2015, with Germany, France, Italy, the UK, Russia
and Romania being the primary target markets, as well as in Spain and Poland, Abu Dhabi and India.
The project envisions a 45-minute movie with four promotional spots of 30-seconds each, thus allowing time
for some commercials to be inserted by local sponsors.
