Passionate high school writer gets a US college opportunity

Meet Paula Dosza, a graduating senior at the "Tudor Vianu" National High School of Computer Science in Bucharest, Romania, who just accepted a 4-year all-expenses scholarship to attend New York University.

Her award is worth EURO 70K each year (US $95,5000 yearly) and covers tuition, room and board, medical insurance, and even airline flights home to Romania for vacations.

Paula's award was based on an essay she wrote about her passion for writing.

Besides essays, she has subtitled motion pictures and written movie screenplays.

In 2012 she won the Shakespeare Jury Prize in Britain for her essay "Conforming to Non-Conformity" (posted online), allowing her to attend a two-week writing camp in England.
